Susie and Clayton had quite a playful relationship during her late teens and many suspected she and Clayton were an item?
Susie did confess in her book in her mid 20's that she had been attracted to Clayton on more than one occasion due to his rather large appendage, but had only ever toyed with the idea of a relationship but after learning his secret never really fulfilled it?

The publication of this image some years later prompted Clayton during a political scandal and smear campaign against Susie's husband Laurence Chadwick, who was then running for office, to openly admit that he was Gay and had been so for a number of years before they met.
Clayton was also involved with local politics himself in helping the run down areas of the city get over their cultural indifference and live together as one community?
His speeches and rallies however did not go down well with certain cultures who saw his beliefs as being tainted and one sided and in 1992 Clayton would feel the brunt of that belief when he and three other members of his team were gunned down in a drive by shooting, prompting many claim to be the final straw that broke the camels back which led to the riots that took place in the city between 1992 and 1994...
